ANTS IN YOUR HOME?
Professional Ant Control for Homes and Businesses
Finding a few ants in the garden is one thing. Finding a trail of them marching across your kitchen worktop is another.
Ants can enter buildings through tiny gaps and may quickly establish regular trails towards food and water sources. Effective ant control isn't simply about killing the ants you can see, it's about understanding where they're coming from and treating the problem appropriately.
We'll inspect the activity, identify the species where possible and recommend a treatment programme based on what you're actually dealing with.

COMMON ANT SPECIES
Most Household Ant Problems Are Straightforward
When people talk about an "ant problem", they’re usually dealing with a common species that has found a reliable source of food or water around the property.
Our standard ant control programmes cover common species including:
✓
Little Black Ants
✓
Red Ants
If you’re seeing ants indoors, it doesn’t necessarily mean you have an established indoor infestation. Ants may simply be entering from an outdoor nest in search of food or water.
✓
Garden Ants
✓
Argentine Ants

SPECIALIST ANT CONTROL
Pharaoh & Ghost Ants Are Different
Pharaoh ants and ghost ants behave differently from the common garden and black ants most people encounter.
They are much smaller and can be difficult to identify without a closer inspection. They can also establish colonies within buildings and may require a more careful, targeted treatment approach.
An Important Point
Pharaoh and ghost ant infestations are uncommon compared with the typical black or garden ant problems we deal with. If you’ve spotted a few ants in your kitchen, there is no reason to assume you have a Pharaoh or ghost ant infestation.
If we’re unsure what species you’re dealing with, we’ll investigate rather than making assumptions.

Species identification matters. We don’t expect customers to know which type of ant they’re dealing with. If you’re unsure, we’ll assess the problem and advise you on the most appropriate treatment.
PREVENTION & PROOFING
Ant Prevention & Proofing
Once immediate ant activity has been dealt with, prevention is the key to long-term control. We provide practical advice on reducing the conditions that attract ants to your property in the first place.
This includes identifying and managing potential food sources, moisture build-up, waste management and mechanical entry points. By addressing these factors, you can significantly reduce the likelihood of future infestations.
Additional Proofing Works
Where physical proofing is required to block gaps, cracks or other entry points, we can discuss additional proofing works. These tasks are charged separately from our standard treatment programmes, depending on the specific work required.
01
Inspection
We’ll look at where the ants are appearing, how they’re entering the property and what may be attracting them.
