Take back control of your home from unwanted spiders.
SPECIALIST SPIDER CONTROL
While most spiders found in UK homes are harmless, having large numbers of spiders, webs or recurring sightings can be unsettling, particularly when they keep appearing despite your best efforts.
Powell Pest Control provides professional spider control across East Sussex, helping identify why spiders are entering or settling around your property and the most effective way to reduce the problem.
We’ll assess your property, explain your options clearly and provide practical, honest advice without recommending unnecessary treatments.

OUR HONEST APPROACH
We won't sell you a treatment we don't believe in.
Pest control should solve a genuine problem, not simply give you something to pay for. That’s why we don’t offer routine treatments for ordinary house spiders.
House spiders are harmless, naturally occurring and can actually help by catching other insects around your home. They will also naturally return, meaning routine treatment would only ever provide a temporary result.
Where a spider species presents a greater concern, such as a false widow, we’re happy to assess the situation and provide appropriate specialist treatment.
01
House Spiders
Large, fast-moving spiders commonly found in homes, sheds, garages and other sheltered areas. They can look alarming but are generally harmless to people.
OUR APPROACH
No routine treatment
House spiders, false widows & other species.
Not every spider you see around your home is a pest that needs treating. Here's a quick guide to some of the differences.
02
False Widows
False widow spiders are smaller and can have a distinctive dark, bulbous appearance. They are capable of biting, although bites are uncommon and usually occur when the spider is disturbed or trapped against the skin.
